INTERREG Fusion – Website
Description
FUSION is part of the European INTERREG France-Wallonia-Flanders program (cross-border cooperation). The project targets the cross-border catchment area of the Lys river / Leie (in Dutch). The project is largely financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project consortium brings together a number of public players and institutions on both sides of the Franco-Belgian border, including Hainaut Ingénierie Technique (HIT), which is the lead partner. FUSION aims to improve coordination, balance and sustainable water management in the cross-border Lys catchment area. The aim of the project is to slow the flow of water and encourage greater biodiversity on both sides of the border. This site is a showcase of information for citizens, political leaders, public administrations and professionals in various sectors. The aim of the site is to promote the project, news, planned infrastructure works and events. The site may include hypertext links to partner sites/social media over which Hainaut Province has no control. Consequently, it declines all responsibility for the content, accuracy or legality of information published on these external sites/social media. Use is also made of various social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Youtube. A tool to measure site traffic has been implemented for statistical purposes and for the continuous improvement of the services offered. Site content is managed by Hainaut Ingénierie Technique.
